District Areas
The South-West Lake Maxinkuckee Conservancy District is divided into seven distinct areas. Each area has its own representative who was originally appointed by the Marshall County Commissioners in May of 2008. Each representative is a member of the SWLMCD Board of Directors. When a specific area representative’s term expires, the District freeholders within that area will nominate a representative, then all of the freeholders within the entire District will vote to elect that nominee to a new, four year term. If no representative is nominated, the Board of Directors will appoint someone to serve a one year term. If a representative cannot finish out his or her term, the Board of Directors will appoint someone to complete that term. If no one volunteers to fill the position it will remain vacant until such time as the Board can find a replacement representative, or someone asks to be appointed who resides within that Area. The Board of Directors acts on behalf of the entire District.
Below each representative is identified and the date their current term expires is listed. The address range included in each area is also explained. The Board has also appointed Kathy Clark of Lakeside Consulting LLC to act as Operations Manager and Deputy Financial Clerk for the District. She also acts as the Deputy Secretary to the Board. AREA ONE

AREA ONE is comprised of all of Venetian Village. This area includes all of the property within the outline shown on the map below. Any vacant properties within the area noted here may not be involved in the current construction plan, but are within the SWLMCD and bound by District regulations.

AREA TWO

AREA FIVE contains two sections. The first begins with 204 South Shore Drive and ends with 20 South Shore Drive.
